Aquarium Observation: 8-14

1. Continual loss of water that was refreshed by a distilled water bottle.  Plant A continues to amass a larger amount of dead brown matter around itself.  Overall organism movement within the aquarium has slowed greatly few obvious signs of movement.  Both Cyclops have developed egg sacs attached to their tails. A new worm like organism was observed and identified as a Stylaria. Desmid algae also appear frequently throughout the tank.

2.  A slight drop in organism that can be seen moving.  Of the organisms seen in the previous observation some have disappeared and are likely dead.

3.More dead organisms than ever line the bottom of the tank and add to the overall bulk of the soil layer.  The ecosystem of the tank seems to have diminished .

Aquarium Observation: November 1-7

Observation:
1. Water was lost similar to the previous observation. Plant A has massed more dead material and much less movement was observed throughout the aquarium. Plant B seems to remain the same.

2.  Overall organism amount has decreased.  No nematodes are seen, two cyclops still remain along with a variety of algae.  A new organism identified as a Annelida was also seen.

3.  More dead organism litter the bottom of the tank, which shows an overall decrease in the ecosystem and has caused a rise in the level of soil.
